Editorial Standards
How to interpret our commercial estimating guidance, examples and business information.

Educational examples are not client work
Calculations and worksheets are hypothetical teaching illustrations. They are not completed project case studies, company deliverables, project quotes or current market-rate benchmarks. Website images are original AI-generated illustrations of estimating and construction subjects. They do not depict completed client projects, verified company premises or a completed portfolio.
What our guidance does and does not cover
Our pages explain drawing inputs, quantity measurement, coordination and common estimate review practices. Project-specific prices, code obligations, engineering responsibility, delivery timelines and trade availability require individual confirmation. No local offices are implied by state directories.
Reviewing technical content
For each estimate, a reviewer should check the drawing issue, unit of measurement, specification references, addenda, inclusions, exclusions and assumptions. If a source or project fact cannot be verified, it should be presented as an open question rather than as a proven fact.
Business credentials and testimonials
We do not publish unverified customer reviews, project totals, licensing statements or team qualifications. Verified company evidence can be added when documentation and permission are available.
